Police Arrest Final Suspect in 2023 Anambra Kidnapping-Murder Case

According to a report by Random News Portal… The Anambra State Police Command has arrested 25-year-old Olisa Oyelu, also known as “Obele,” the last identified member of a notorious armed robbery and kidnapping gang linked to a 2023 incident that left a victim dead.Operatives from the State Criminal Investigation Department took Oyelu into custody in the early hours of Wednesday, September 23, following sustained intelligence gathering and detailed investigations, according to a statement by Police Public Relations Officer SP Tochukwu Ikenga.Police say Oyelu was an active member of the gang allegedly led by a suspect known as “Pincode.” His arrest marks a significant breakthrough, as “Pincode” and four other suspects linked to the case are already in custody at a correctional centre pending court proceedings.After investigations conclude, Oyelu will also be transferred to the correctional centre.
