4. SOURCE-BASED AGGREGATION
World Media Roundup may obtain source information through publicly accessible websites, RSS feeds, Atom feeds, XML feeds, publisher-provided feeds, APIs, syndication arrangements, permitted data sources, publicly available metadata, or other lawful technical mechanisms.
The fact that information is technically accessible does not, by itself, determine the copyright status or permitted use of the underlying material.
WNS therefore seeks to structure its aggregation practices around limited information presentation, source attribution, reader navigation, and access to the Original Publisher wherever reasonably practicable.
Depending upon the source and applicable rights, WNS may display only limited information rather than reproducing the underlying article in full.
5. RSS AND FEED AGGREGATION
World Media Roundup may use RSS, Atom, XML, JSON, APIs, or similar feeds made available by publishers or other sources.
Where a publisher makes a feed publicly accessible, WNS may use the feed for purposes including:

Where a publisher provides specific feed terms, licensing information, attribution requirements, or technical instructions, WNS may take those requirements into account when operating the relevant source.
6. FEED OWNERSHIP
An RSS, Atom, XML, API, or other feed does not transfer ownership of the publisher’s intellectual property to World News Studio.
The Original Publisher generally retains whatever copyright, trademark, database, contractual, or other rights it possesses in its underlying material, subject to applicable law and any applicable license.
WNS does not represent that its aggregation of a feed grants WNS ownership of the publisher’s underlying articles, photographs, videos, graphics, trademarks, or other protected works.
7. ROBOTS.TXT AND TECHNICAL SOURCE CONTROLS
World News Studio recognizes that publishers may use technical mechanisms to communicate preferences concerning automated access to their websites.
Where technically feasible, WNS may take account of applicable robots.txt instructions, crawler directives, feed restrictions, access controls, or other machine-readable instructions.
However, robots.txt is primarily a technical convention and does not independently determine copyright ownership or legal authorization.
Similarly, the absence of a robots.txt restriction should not be interpreted as an unlimited copyright license.
Where a publisher believes that a WNS crawler, aggregation process, or source integration is disregarding a specific technical restriction, the publisher may contact WNS through the designated channel.
WNS may investigate and, where technically feasible and appropriate, modify, restrict, suspend, or discontinue the relevant source integration.
8. SOURCE ACCESS AND RATE LIMITING
World News Studio seeks to operate aggregation systems responsibly.
Automated systems may be configured to avoid unreasonable request volumes, excessive crawling, repeated requests, or unnecessary server load.
WNS may implement:

A summary is not intended to replace the Original Publisher’s article.

Readers should therefore consult the Original Publisher when complete context is important.

14. NO AI RECONSTRUCTION OF ORIGINAL ARTICLES
Unless expressly authorized or otherwise legally permitted, WNS does not intend to use AI systems for the purpose of reproducing an Original Publisher’s article in substantially complete form merely by transforming its wording.
AI-assisted processing is intended primarily for limited summarization, classification, metadata, discovery, and operational functions.
The use of artificial intelligence does not eliminate copyright obligations or other applicable legal restrictions.
15. AI ERRORS AND SOURCE PRIORITY
Where an AI-assisted summary conflicts with the Original Publisher’s article, the Original Publisher’s article should be consulted.
Where an automated summary is identified as materially inaccurate, WNS may correct, replace, or remove the summary.
The existence of an AI-generated summary does not transfer responsibility for the underlying journalism from the Original Publisher to WNS.
Conversely, where WNS creates an independently reported article based upon multiple sources, that article may be governed by WNS’s separate editorial policies rather than the specific aggregation treatment described here.
16. THIRD-PARTY OPINIONS AND CLAIMS
World Media Roundup may aggregate:
- News reporting;
- Editorials;
- Opinion pieces;
- Analysis;
- Interviews;
- Commentary;
- Investigative reports;
- Statements from public officials;
- Corporate announcements;
- Academic reporting;
- Institutional publications.
The nature of the source should be considered when evaluating the information.
An opinion expressed by an Original Publisher, columnist, analyst, commentator, political actor, company, institution, or other person should not automatically be treated as a verified factual statement.

19.5 Minor Corrections
Minor typographical, formatting, metadata, or technical errors may be corrected without a separate correction notice where appropriate.
20. CORRECTION REQUESTS
A person requesting a correction should provide:
- The URL of the WNS page;
- The relevant headline or item;
- The precise information alleged to be incorrect;
- The reason the information is inaccurate;
- Evidence supporting the requested correction;
- The corrected information;
- Contact information for follow-up.
Where the complaint concerns an Original Publisher’s article rather than WNS’s aggregation, the complainant may be directed to the Original Publisher.
WNS may decline requests that are unsupported, abusive, duplicative, unrelated to the relevant content, or intended to suppress lawful reporting without sufficient basis.
21. PUBLISHER OPT-OUT
An Original Publisher may contact World News Studio to request that its material no longer be included in World Media Roundup.
The request should ordinarily be submitted by:
- The publisher;
- An authorized representative;
- A rights holder;
- An appropriately authorized technical or legal representative.
The request should identify the relevant:
- Publisher name;
- Domain;
- Feed URL;
- Article URL(s);
- RSS/Atom/API endpoint, where applicable;
- Technical crawler identification, if relevant;
- Nature of the requested restriction;
- Contact person;
- Confirmation of authority.
WNS may request reasonable verification that the requesting party is authorized to make the request.
22. EFFECT OF A PUBLISHER OPT-OUT
Following a verified opt-out request, WNS may take one or more of the following actions:
- Stop polling the specified feed;
- Remove the source from future aggregation;
- Stop creating new aggregated entries from that source;
- Modify source-processing rules;
- Disable a particular feed;
- Remove specified entries where appropriate;
- Update technical source configurations.
An opt-out may apply prospectively unless the parties agree otherwise or applicable law requires a different response.
Historical references, cached information, search indexes, archival records, quotations, or independently developed WNS reporting may not necessarily be removed merely because a publisher requests prospective feed exclusion.
23. OPT-OUT DOES NOT TRANSFER COPYRIGHT
A publisher’s opt-out request concerns the operation of WNS’s aggregation service.
It does not constitute an admission concerning copyright infringement, nor does WNS’s implementation of an opt-out necessarily constitute an admission of liability.
Likewise, failure to opt out does not constitute a blanket copyright license unless an express agreement or applicable legal basis provides otherwise.
24. COPYRIGHT AND TAKEDOWN PROCEDURE
World News Studio respects applicable copyright and intellectual-property rights.
Indian copyright law contains provisions concerning fair dealing, including certain uses relating to criticism, review, and reporting current events and current affairs. The application of such provisions depends on the facts and circumstances of a particular use.
Accordingly, WNS does not represent that every instance of aggregation is automatically protected by a copyright exception.
Rights holders who believe that material appearing through World Media Roundup infringes their rights may submit a copyright complaint.
A complaint should identify:

Knowingly false, fraudulent, abusive, or materially misleading complaints may be rejected.

Third-party reports may contain names, photographs, contact information, quotations, or other information relating to individuals.
World News Studio does not intend to use World Media Roundup as a mechanism for unnecessarily exposing personal information.
Where a legitimate privacy concern is raised, WNS may review the relevant material under its Privacy Policy, applicable law, public-interest considerations, and other relevant policies.
The mere presence of personal information in a third-party publication does not automatically require its removal from every context.
28. DEFAMATION, ALLEGATIONS AND REPUTATIONAL COMPLAINTS
Reports concerning allegations, investigations, accusations, disputes, or legal proceedings should be understood in context.
